MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.

At the quarterly meeting of the Lily of the Valley Lodcje', U.A.O.D. (A.D. Bro. Freeman presiding), two candidates were initiated. The officers of the following lodges paid an official visit:—West Harbor" Enterprise, Otago, Pride of Mornington' Royal Oat, Ivanhoa, and the District Grand Lodge and Board of Management. D.P. Bro. Romeril (No. 1 District) and D.P. Bro. Moss (No. 19 District) also paid an official visit. The D.G. President, Bro. Kellett, installed P.A. Bro. Mitchell to lite office of D.P. of No. 1 District, The following toasts were then honored :—Bang and the Druids, D.G. Lodge Officers of Otago and Southland, G. Lodge of Victoria, DJ>. Bro- Moss No. 19, D.P. Bro. Mitchell No. 1, and P.D. Presidents. The toasts were responded to bv D.G.P. Bro. Kellett, D.P. Bro. Moss (No. 19 District), D.P. Bro. Mitchell, P.D.P. Bro. Konvril, P.D.P. Bro. Haymes, P.D.P. Bro. Dixon, and P.D.P. Bro. Hunter. Receipts, £3l Os 2d. •
