ALHAMBRA THEATRE
The customary Sa r nrday night “ change * happened as u > ai at the Alhambra last week. The new h’.l!. which runs on till further notice, is good of its kind. It had brightness abcm it, and ihou-d be as popular as its predecessors. The best turn cn Saturday night was the ‘ Darkest Africa ’ act of the MTCisson, Duval, and M’Kissou combination. Its eccentricities are comical, and the contortion work in it is good. ‘ Thr Flannagans.’ a song, dance, and cdntortios medley by Mr Joe Watts and Miss Mad<r« Imcas, also deserves mention for quaintnesa. Mr Ted Berberte, who is putting in his last week with Mr Fuller, sang several songs, and won much applause. He has achieved some popularity, and was recalled to sing the ‘ Gee-gee,’ which was e’amored for. Will Watkins. Ted Tut tv. the Clare sisters, Mbs Ada Duval, and Miss- Annie Kinnaird all helped to make the- performance a success bliss Jes-de Dell and Mr Charted Waite will make their reappearance. On Saturday the theatre will be closed until January, when a’ pantomime. ‘BAkCrusoe.’ will be staged.
