Work on the Central Charlton was .suspended on Friday morning owing to the spreader bar breaking, but work was resumed again on Saturday morning. The Ngapara No. o dredge is undergoing repairs. ’ ’ ’
It is slated tnat tiie- Long \ a-llev dredge has got througl; the Teviot gorge. ‘ hj Steam was got up on Saturday on the Otago Company’s No. 2 dredge. ( It is expected that the Golden Treasure Company’s n-?w dredge will lie on the claim in a week’s time.
