, NEW YORK. April 10. . The United States Circuit Court, of Appeal restrain the Northern Company from acquiring or voting on the Northern Pacific Great Northern Railway’s stock at the latter company’s meeting, inasmuch as the stock was acquired in virtue of a combination in restraint of trade amonlg' several States. The decision has create! a sensation on Wall street. Mr Morgan appeals against it to the Supreme Court.
A BLOW AT MORGAN.
LONDON, April 10. (Received April 11, at 9.7 a.m.)
The New York correspondent of ‘The Times ’ states that the St. Paul, .Minnesota, judgment forbidding the merging of the Northern companies is a great triumph for President Roosevelt and Attorney-General Knox. No such blow has ever before been struck at Morgan’s power.
