MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.

The Russell street Band of Hope held their monthly meeting last evening, th* superintendent, Mr Comisskmg, in the chair. Roslyn Wesleyan. Band of Hope paid an official visit, and contributed a programme, which was: Address by Mr Scott, pianoforte solo (Miss Gregory), solof (Misses Mabel Clyde, Eva Harding,- and Bertha Scott), recitations (Miss Mary Clydo, Gladys AUnutt, Nellie Clyde, and Mr F. Boyce), dialogue by Misses A. Armit and J. Ellingworth. Three choruses, lea by Mr Arthur Sunderland, were well rendered. Miss Gregory: presided at th» piano. Vo'es of thanks,were passed to ths visitinc band, and replied to by Suneria. tendent Scott .
