The Janet Nicoll arrived to-day from the West Coast via the Bluff, and is timed to sail on the return trip at seven to-morrow morning. The Herald left Greymouth for Dunedin at 7 p m. on Monday, and is due here tomorrow, sailing for Greymouth at noon on Ft day. The Moura left Auckland at 5 p.m. yesterday for Southern ports, and is due here on Sunday, The Te Anau was to leave Wellington th's afternoon for the South. The Moko : a left the for Melbourne vin Hobart ,-it 8 a.m. yesterday. The Fifesh're is expected to sail tomorrow for London via Lyttelton and Wellireton. The Tarewai was hauled up on Isbreter's slip for cleaning and painting yesterday ;ift'?rnoon. XAPIER HARBOR IMPROVEMENTS. NAPIER, June 18.—The Harbor Board have decided to proceed with the work of extending the breakwater fifty feet, which is expected to ereatly minimise the range within the harbor. TO-MORROWS BTEAMERB.
