THE PREMIER'S CORONATION VISIT.
Tho presentation of the people's testimonial to the Hon. Mr Seddoii will be made at the Canterbury Hall. Christchnrch. to-morrow evening. Sir John Hall will be the chief spokesman, and short speeches will also bo made by Messrs G. G. Stead and T. W. Stringer (Crown Prosecutor). Mr' Seddon leaves the same evening for Wellington, and will take his departure for the Cape by the transport Drayton Grange on Saturday. The, Horowheuua County Council on Saturday presented, the Premier with an address thanking him tor the services he had rendered to the colony and Empire at large, and expressing a hope that he would'receive a titling reward at the hands of the King. Mr Seddon, in reply, said he had had the reward he wanted. It was sufficient to have the good opinion of one's fellow men, and even of those who differed from him on political subjects. That good opinion had been exhibited during the last few weeks in abundance from the North Cape to the Bluff.
