The bell of the Town Hall, at the rooncst of the Government, was tolled between three and four o’clock this afternoon and the flag flown at half-mast out of respect for the late President M'Kinley, whose funeral takes place to-day. George Lee, who was arrested yesterday in connection with the recent daylight housebreaking robberies, was brought before the Police Court this morning and remanded until to-morrow week. Most of the broken jewellery found in the man’s possession has been identified by the different owners.
