The steamship Eric, which was chartered by the Peary Club to go in search of the Arctic explorer Peaty, found Peary at Etah, in excellent health. The explorer had rounded the northern limit of the Greenland Archipelago, reaching 83deg 50miu. He makes a further advance in the spring.
