MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
Tho fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Dunedin Lodge, M.U.1.0.0.F., held in the lodge room, George street, on Thursday night. N.G. Bro. Alexander presided, and there was a good attendance of members. An official visit was received from the Loyal Albion Lodge. Nominations were opened for the elective offices for the next session: Tor N.G., V.G. Bro. A. Ibbotson; foi V.G., E.S. Bro. S. Aburn, Warden Bro. P. Chisholm; for E.S., Warden Bro. P. Chisholm, Guardian Bro. G. Crosby, Bros V. Trewcni and F, Lambeth. After the ordinary business had been disposed of the lodge went into harmony, the following contributing items : —Bros. Knipo, Winter, O'Raw, Jones, Gardner, Williams, M'Dougall, Lambeth, Aburn, Islington, Crosby, Chisholm, mid Hamcl. N.G. Bro. Alox under will provide a graphophone entertainment next night. The toast of the visitors was responded to by P.G. Bit Briggs (Loval Caversham), P.G. Bro. Winter (Loyal" Albion), P.G.M. Bro. Hamel (Loval 'Hand and Heart). P.G.M. Bro. Hamel and P.P.G.M. Bro. Brundell re sponded on behalf of the district. Fivo can didates were proposed. Receipts, £l4 1» 7d.
