[Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, November 23. At the Supreme Court John Walker, convicted of breaking and entering, was admitted to probation for six months. A nolle prosequi was entered in the case of Ellen Ohaney, charged with theft. Captain Powell, who has been in charge of the torpedo station at Auckland for some years, is about to retire on compensation. He will be succeeded by Captain Coyle, who lately arrived from Home.
