AUCKLAND, November 20. The fire at Waihi destroyed thirteen shops; It broke out in Miss Joll's shop, in the main street, and spread to Gibbocs's large boarding-house and M'Lean's shop on the other side of the road, but was extinguished there without much damage. On the other side the fire demolished one premises of Messrs Newdicks, Tyrell, M'Lean, the Miners' Union, M'Lay, Vudgar Eros., Glasgow, and Mis Donnelly, but was sopped by ertcliog a wall of galvanised iron. The insurances are not available. Knocks's Hot Springs Hotel at Te Aroha was burned down last night. The inmates escaped unharmed.
