The Presbyterian Assembly have decided, for the present, on a maritime service instead of replacing the mission steamer Dayspring, the interest on the money in hand for a new Dayspring to be used for this purpose. ■ An-amendment that a new Dayspring be not built was negatived by a large majority. The Assembly appointed the Rev. Messrs M'Millau and Meiklejohn and Mr Anderson a deputation to represent the Church of Victoria at the Otago Church Jubilee in March next. SYDNEY, November 15. Bishop Wallis, of Wellington, and Mrs Wallis are passengers by the Monowai.
