THE WOOL SALES.
[Per Press Association.—Copyright.] SYDNEY, November 10. To-day’s wool sales in Sydney and Melbourne were marked by a distinctly firmer tone, with improving prices, especially for lower class wools. MELBOURNE, November 11. Five thousand bales were offered at the sales, and 4,372 sold. There was animated competition, and prices compare favorably with late rates. The market is slightly firmer all round.
