He referred to the origin of the parent society, of which he is a member, and expressed pleasure at to many policemen taking certificates. He printed out the necessity for this branoh of work being taken up- by the force generally, as rendering first aid prevented many accidents terminating fatally. - The Governors held a levee in the afternoon.
