SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

The monthly meeting of the Macandrew road School Committee, held last evening, was attended by Messrs Taverner (chairman), Somerville, Milburn, J. Smith, Scott, Develin, Craig, and Todd. The head-teacher (Mr Bennett.) reported that the average attendance for the month was—Boys 216, girls 198; total, 404. Number on the roll—Boys 241, girls .225; total, 446.
