PARIS, October 28. The French Government have refused to recognise the treaties entered into between the Royal Niger . Company and the territorial chiefs of West Africa until their terms are formally communicated by the British Government.
The French newspapers are greatly excited in their references to the claims of France and Great Britain.
It is insisted' by the French colonial party that M. Hanotaux (the Foreign Minister) should uphold the rights of France, especially in respect to the kingdoms of Nikhi and Boussa.
