WELLINGTON, October 28. When the judgment summons case against a member of Parliament was called on before Mr Kenny, S.M., this morning a letter was put in from the clerk of the House of Representatives forwarding by direction of Mr Speaker, pursuant to subsection 2 of s'eotion 3 of the Privileges Act 1886 Amendment Act, 1872, an affidavit from the member who had' been summoned and a certificate from Mr Speaker. The magistrate said as the question of privilege had thus been raised he must order the case to stand over.

NEW PLYMOUTH, October 28. Inspector M'Govern arrested six more Natives this morning at Waihi, as the outcome of the ploughing operations on Monday.
