GOOD TEMPLARY

The Lily of the Valley Lodge, 1.0. G.T., held their usual weekly meeting last night in Sheeran'a Hall, King street. The chair, was occupied by Bro. R. C. Moore, P.C.T. The officers and . members of the Star of Roslyn were duly received and welcomed by the chairman and members. The initiation of candidates was then performed. Five members were added to the roll. Harmony was opened by Bro. J. M'Connell with a song; then followed recitations, songs, etc., in which the following took part:— Sisters Strong, Swinton, and Williamson, Bros. Wm. M'Kinlay, Strong, Mills, and R. M'Kinlay. During the evening Bro. D. C. Cameron, Grand Secretary, addressed the lodge on some practical matters. The nomination of officers for the next quarter was postponed till next meeting. Votes of thanks were passed and duly responded to. The lodge continuea to be in a prosperous condition.
