The quotations for lambs do not include sales of small lambs or heavies or inferior quality. River Plate sheep: Cross-Weds or merino wethers—heavy, 29-16 d ; light, 2§d per lb. At an auction of Australian sheepskins 4,887 were offered and 4,760 sold. Merinoes were £d to |d higher; cross-breds, £d to £d higher. Butter: Australian, 100s,; Danish, 92 kroners.
