Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin (subject to any necessary alterations), as under:— Overland, North, daily, 10.30 a.m. Late letters, mail van, 11 a.m. Thursday, October 21. For Lyttelton, Christchurch, Northern Ports, and Australian Colonies.—Per Tarawera, at 1.30 p.m. Late letters, Port train, at 2.30 p.m. VANCOUVER SERVICE. Thursday, October 21. The Warrimoo will leave Wellington for Vancouver on Saturday, 23rd October. Mails for Canada, United States of America, Honolulu, Fiji, West Indies, United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, etc., will close at this office on Thursday, 21st, at 10 a.m. Late letters. North express, 11 a.m. Letters for the United Kingdom must be specially addressed. Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, per Taviuni, will close at Auckland on the 20th inst., at 4 p.m. Mails for Raratonga and Tahiti, per Upolu, will close at Auckland on the 27th inst., at 4 p.m. (Signed) Edm.
