Roslyn.—This Conncil met last night; present—the Mayor (Mr Kemnitz) and Crs Scott, Wedderspoon, Blackwood, Wilson, Hunter, Drew, Watson, Sutherland, and Sim. The Dunedin and Kaikorai Tram Company asked for interest on the amount deposited in the bank to provide compensation and the request was granted The Works Committee recommended that the road through part of the reserve be restored and repaired; that tenders be called for the formation of Tay street; that Mr Calverley be notified to cut and remove the growth of gorse from his property at Forbestown. The report was adopted. The Finance Cornreported that the bank overdraft stood at £BBB. It was resolved that the Town Belt footpath, between Albert street, Dunedin, and Littlebourne road, be asphalted as soon as the residents lodged the half cost of the workVith the clerk ; also to call for tender* Mr twelve months' oarting.
