THE BEHRING SEA FISHERIES.

. WASHINGTON, October 14. Mr John Sherman, Secretary of State, has agreed to the proposal that the Behnng Sea Fisheries Conference be limited to British, American, and Canadian experts. He, however, contends that Lord Salisbury has, by implication, consented to the admission of Russia and Japan, and these nations will hold a separate conference with the United States on the 20th inst.
