Snow on the hills round Dunedin this morning.
We hear that the rain has been general throughout Central Otago, putting the farmers in good heart by bringing along the grass, and in many places ensuring a wheat crop from paddocks which a week ago seemed to be in almost hopeless ease. Mr Paulin telephoned at 2.30 pirn. : "Saually to light S.W. winds, changing to N. W., and heavy rain or hail showers; indications very unsettled." Snow to-day at Tapanui and Lawrence.
