The Hope of Dunedin held their weekly meeting on Friday in the Rattray street Oddfellows' Hill. The Past Chief Templar (Bro. G. W. Sandeman) presided. Apologies were received from the Chief Templar and Lodge Deputy. One candidate was initiated. Reports of the VisiLiDg and Care of the Sick Committees, also communications from the Distrbt Electoral Superintendent and the Pioneer and Alliance Lodges, were received. After recess a programme of musical and instrumental items was given by Sia. Mathews and Bros. Pitcher, W. Newell, D. Sandeman, G. W. Sandeman, O'Brien, and M'Kinloy. Sis. Mathewa acted as accompanist. The vote of thanks and good of the Order was responded to by Sis. Strang (of the Alliance), Sis. vVright (Pioneer of Dunedin), and. Bro. M'Kinlay (of the Lily of the Valley).
