TO THE EDITOB. has become of our Temperance leaders, Why are they not organising meetings for the purpose of fighting this election ? Surely there never was a clearer issue than the present one: Temperance and true Labor v. Liquor. Now is the time for the temperance people to show their strength. Where are the Women’s Franchise League? Do they forget who was the roost energetic and instrumental in getting them the franchise? Surely they will not desert their old friend and party at this time! Let the temperance people vote together, if temperance is the foundation of all labor success* There should be no splitting of the temperanceiabor vote.
