The anniversary dedication festival service of St. Michael's Church. Anderson Bay, took place on Friday, when a large congregation assembled. There was a full choral evensong, the local choir being, greatly helped by the members of Holy Innocents ; and St. John's Church choirs, who, to th& number of a dozen, kindly gave their services, coming all the way from Roslyn and Leitb. Valley. The preacher was the Ven. Archdeacon Robinson. The Rev. Canon Richards sung the service, and Mr Brook, who,-with Mr Wilson conducted the choir, read the first lesson. The decorations were moat tasteful, ladies and:members of the Ladies? Working Guild invited the visiting choirs to supper after the service. The offertory was handed to the St. Mary's Orphanage, which is sadly in need of assistance at present. "For Art may err, but Nature cannot miss," So coughs and colds she adds to mortal bliss.
