■ 'LONDON, October 3. At the wool sales the prices for all good combings showed a hardening tendency. Americau bjiyerSare freely paving extreme rates for light-conditioned greasies. Compared with the opening rates good merinoes and; stylish cross-breds have advanced 5 percent. Inferior and faulty sorts arj very irregular. Amongst, the clips sold was one,, " Qtag6," at 9&d per lb. The quantity catalogued. since the opening of the sales is 48,350 bales, of which 46,134 were sold.
