The Hope of Dunedin Lodge held their weekly meeting on Wednesday last, The ohair woa occupied by the Chief Templar, Bro. J. M. Sandeman. Two candidates were initiated. It was decided that nest meeting be a pound night, as the Anchor of Hope, Mosgiel, and the Alliance Lodges visit officially. On harmony being called the following contributed :—Bro. G. W. Sandeman, Bro. Newall, Sister Kennedy, and Sister Newman (songs), which were excellently rendered and applauded ; Bro. Birrell gave a humorous reading ; Sister Mathews gave a piano solo, and also acted as accompanist.
