LONDON, September 22. A swimming match has been arranged between Ernest Oavill and M'Cusker (of America) to swim in London a quarter of a mile for £2OO. The match is to take place towards the end of October.

Arrangements have also been made for Ernest Cavill to swim against A. Evans over 500 yards for £IOO. Percy Cavill has abandoned his intention of attempting to lower the existing record for five and a-quartor miles.
