The weekly meeting of the Benevolent Trustees, held today, waR attended by Mr A. Solomon (chairman) and Messrs C. Allan, W. Swan, R. Watson, R. Wilson, and J. Green.
Accounts amounting to £l3l 12i 4d were passed fcr payment. The Secretary mentioned that Arthur Hill had left the Institution, and William Wright (aged sixty-three) and James Kenny (aged, sixty-five) had died during the past week. The expenditure for the month of August had been £305 2j 4d, which for the 256 inmates made tiie average cost 4s 9?d per head. About thirty-four relief case 3 were dealt with. ,
