A large and enthusiastic meeting of representatives of the Rebekah and subordinate lodges of the Dunedin District, 1.0.0. F., was held on Friday evening to make arrangements to give a suitable farewell to Grand Warden Bro. F. A. Hancock, who iB leaving the colony for Melbourne. P.G.M. Bro.' Cole was appointed chairman aud P.G. Bro. J. H. Hinton secretary. • The fortnightly meeting of Court Enterprise, Ancient Order of Foresters, was held in the court room, European Hotel, George street, laßt Tuesday. Bro. W. Himmel presided at the piano, and songs were contributed by Bros. Hudson, Harris, Harrison, Swanson, and others. The Committee reported that the annual reunion tickets were going off well, and also the ticketß for the ball to be held next month. Two candidates were initiated.
.', Twenty-one Druids' lodges now own allegiance to the District Grand Lodge for the North Island, with a membership of 1,330 and funds totalling £7,000.
