POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedln subject to any nectary alterations), as under:— Overland, North, daily, 10.30 a.m. Late letters, mail van, 11 a.m. Friday, September 17. For Lyttelton and Christchurch.—Per Te Anau at 3 p.m. Late letters, C.P.0., at 3.10 p.m. Tuesday, September 21. For Northern Ports.—Per Tarawera, at 1.30 p.m. Late letters, guard's van, Port train, at 230 P.m. Mails for Noumea leave Sydney on the 18th mst. w Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, per Ovalau will close at Auckland on the 22nd. at 4- vim ■ Mails for Rarotonga and Tahiti will close at Auckland, per Upolu, at 4 p.m. on 29th inst. j (Signed) Edm.
