Ilauroto, s.s., 1,276 tons, Bernecb, from Wellington and Lyttelton. Passengers: Misses Wilson, Bodley(i!), Kebbell. White, Carr, Castle, Gaffnay, Messrs Whitson, Houghton, Greenshields, Caldwell, Pebbs, G.-ant, White, Passtuore, Lyle, Taylor, Matfey, Taine, Clark ; and nineteen steerage. SAILED.-June 17. Uotokino, s.s., 1,304 tons, J. Anderson, for Svdney via the Bluff. Brunner, s.s, r 332 tons, Spence, for the West Coast. The Brunner, with passengers and cargo from the West Coast, arrived at Rattray street wharf at 6 p.m. yost-irday. She left Greymouth at 10.30 p in. on the 11th inst., called at Westport, Wellington, Lyttelton. Akaroa, Tiiuaru, and Oaiuaru ; left the latter port at noau yesterday, and arrived as above, .-he left again this afternoon on her return trip for the West Coast. The Hfiui-oto, from the North, arrived at Dunedin at 7 a.m. to-day. She left Wellington at 4.15 p.m. on the loth, inst., called at Lyttelton next day, and arrived as above. The barque Hudson is completing her ballast at the Victoria wharf. The Otarama commenced this morning to take on board frozen mutton aud other cargo. Mrs Borrie (for the Bluff) is the only New Zealand passenger by the s.s. Oruba, which arrived at Melbourne this week. Passengers aud cargo ex s.s. Kaikoura, from London, will arrive by the Tasmania on Sunday. The Rotorua is receiving overhaul and being cleaned and painted in the graving dock. Messrs Knewstub Brothers a>e losing no time with their contract stripping, caulking, and recoppering the schooner Enterprise on Isbister"B slip. . . THE DIKECT STEAMERS. The Kaikoura, from London and Hobart, arrived at Wellington at b' a.m. to-day. She had •iae weather the .hole time, except off Cape Lce-.iv.in. She brings seventy-seven passengers. Por D:medin: Sir Edwards; and eleven in the steerage. The Matatua left Monte Video on the morning of the 25.h uit.,-with her meat in good condition.
