MORE ABOUT BUTLER.
HOW HE RECEIVED THE DEATH SENTENCE. [Per Press Association— Copyright.] SVDNEY, June 17. The wound in Butler's throat is an inch long, but not at all deep or dangerous. It is thought that he had no intention of inflicting serious injury, but merely wanted to cause a delay in the trial. How he became possessed of the tag is a mystery. He was stripped closely and searched at frequent intervals, and shortly before the attempt.
