[Pbb Press Association. —Copyright.] LONDON, June 16. At a meeting of the Colonial Institute several colonial visitors were present. Sir G. Baden-POwell said the financial relations of the Empire were in a chaotic condition and lacking in general system. Sir Edward Braddon (Tasmania) protested against the double income tax to which colonials were subject. He said that Britain gained only £IOB,OOO annually under the system of double taxation. The colonies would profor prompt concessions instead of wresting them froni the Government. Mr Byrnes (Queensland) strongly endorsed Sir Edward Braddon's views. Mr Grim wade, a member of the Victorian Legislative Council, said that Victoria was determined to clear off every penny of her obligations, He believed that the colony would soon end its troubles.
