THE WINTER SHOW.

With a view to suiting the convenience of country visitors, the Committee of the Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Society have agreed to issue speoial tickets, Which will be available for admission during the four days for which the show will be open. These tickets will not be transferable, and can only be obtained on application to members of the Committee or secretary. It has also been deoided to grant all the children attending the various sohools admittance during stated hours at reduced prices, provided they are accompanied or in charge of responsible persons. The following judges who were nominated have notified their willingness to act: — Cheese—Messrs E. Meadows (Melbourne) and J. T. Lang; butter—Messrs A. A. Thornton and C. W. Sorenson ; grain— MessrsD. Borrie," W. Evans, H. Harraway ; seeds —Mesßrs A. Crawford and A. F. Hawke; roots —Messrs W. Kirkland and John Elliott; wool—Mr J. H. Jowitt; dressed poultry—Mr C. E. Bird; bread, scones, etc.—Mesdames M. F. Driver, W. F. Edmond, and E. B. Miller. Exhibitors are reminded that all exhibits should reach Dunedin on Monday night, the 21st inst., with the exception of fresh butter, poultry, fruit, and bread and scones, which will be received up to 11 a.m. on the 23rd.
