Passengers: Misses Stock, Basket!, Jordan, M. Denny, Lowe, Mesdames Percival, Stock, Messrs S. Young, P. L. Wright, Lowe, Short; and nine steerage. December 8. Invercargill, s.s., Pit) tons, Sumlstrum, for luvereargiil. The ship Westland was removed to the loading berth at the export pier this morning. The Matatua steamed down from Dunedin this morning, and was berthed at the George street pier to discharge a quantity of iron, and took on board wool and frozen mutton. She sails this evening for Lyttelton. The brigantine Enterprise, timber laden from Kaipara, arrived at the Rattray sueet wharf on Monday evening.
The Taraweia left Port Chalmers yesterday evening for 51011)0111-110 via the Bluff and Hobart. The ship Landseer completed the discharge of her Dunedin cargo to-day. The Invercargill left the Rattray street wharf this afternoon for Invercargill. A barque eight miles south of Cape Saunders was reported this forenoon. She will probably be the New Zealand shipping Company's Rangitikei, which left London on August 28, now 100 days out.
The barque Lutterworth is expected to leave Port Chalmers this evening for Gisborne, at which port she loads for London. MOVEMENTS OF UNION S.S. COMPANY’S FLEET. Tuesday, December 8.
