LONDON, December 7.
Wreckage from Brighton chain pier, destroyed in the gale, was dashed against the Wester pier, and cut it in halves. ‘The Times’ says the storm was the most terrific gale of the century. Great damage was done in Eastern and Southern England and Western France. Tho electric railway between Brighton, Kemptown, and Rottingdoan was ruined.
