PUBLIC) NOTICES. D.S.A. OPENING OF SPRING GOODS AT THE DRAPERY SUPPLY ASSOCIATION, GEORGE STREET, AND SOUTH DUNEDIN. WE ARE NOW USHERING IN SPRING, and welcome it not only on account of the beneficial effect of warmer weather, but also for the glorious springtide of Nature and our pleasanter surroundings. So that our patrons may be seasonable, and, as a natural sequence, follow the seasons, the D.S.A. have Opened up their SPRING SEASON’S GOODS ex Tainul, Ruahino, and Gothic. These Goods have all been specially selected personally by our Mr Dick in London after careful comparison. They are unequalled for excellence or value, and we have, therefore, confidence in recommending a visit to our establishment, and guarantee the Latest Up-to-date Goods at unparalleled prices. HIS SEASON WE ARE CERTAINLY more prepared than at any previous time with the Latest and Most Stylish Things in SUMMER MILLINERY. This has been accomplished by Mr Dick’s personal supervision and the advantageous arrangement with manufacturers, which placed the whole market at his disposal. Even the most pessimistic must admit, after examining our offerings, that nothing can excel, if even equal, them. This season's Fancy Hats are very varied, ranging from small Dot Toques (plain and crinkled) to large conspicuous cart-wheel size, with plain and fluted brims, in a ■ variety of shot effects in Bernina plait. As flowers will be prominent during the coming season, we have landed several cases. These are perfect in every way, and it is in some measure due to these that our Trimmed Hats and Bonnets have attracted so conspicuous attention by their style and design. SAILOR HATS. -We have given a vast amount of attention to the Straw Market, and made it our special study, with the result that the newest, smartest, and best shapes of the moment are to be found in our Show Room. Dozens upon dozens of all manner and shapes of New Sailor Hats, with large and small crowns, narrow and wide brims, in fine, medium, coarse, and very coarse Straws. Sailor Hats in all charming styles, including Black', White, Cream, and Speckled, from a few pence upwards. A profusion of Leghorn Hats, Montana Hats, Boaters, and Chip Hats, in plain, natural edges, or with fancy plait brims and waved edges. We hold a large stock of Plumes, Tips, Feathers, etc. ACRETS AND CAPES.—We have a selection of about 250 new fashionable Jackets, all smart, well-fitting garments, at moderate prices. In Blacks we show good, durable Cheviot Jackets, tight fitting at back, with gauntlet cuffs. In many cases the lapels are silkfaced and have a niching' of braid. Several new shapes button close up to the neck, and all are well finished in every respect. Our Golf Capes combine gracefulness and smartness with great comfort to the wearer, some being made in very becoming light colors. This Cape will be very and can either bo had with hood oi two shoulder capes. A MONO OUR MOST POPULAR DRESS STUFFS arc the new All-wool Crcpons (the craze of the past London season), in the most extensive variety of fantastic and curious crimps and patterns, which are specially adapted for the warm weather. We have them in all leading shades, among which are Fawn, Vicux Rose, Heliotrope, Biscuit, and Black. A job purchase in London of 20 pieces Covert Coatings, all of a nice, bright finish. Our regular ranges of Cashmeres and Merinoes now to hand are well worth inspection. Summer Tweeds in every possible combination of colorings, at prices to suit everybody. RETONNBS, MUSLINS, AND FLOORCLOTHS.—Our Cretonnes and Art Muslins are all specially selected goods, and should command a ready sale at the prices marked. We have secured our Oilcloths and Linoleums at the usual prices, although the price for this class of stuff has gone up considerably at Homo. We shall continue to sell our standard makes at the same prices, all being in beautiful floral patterns and unique designs. Ribbons, gloves, and laces.—At tempting prices we are displaying all the Newest Effects in Shot Ribbons, so largely in demand in London, and a bewildering collection of Fancies, Satins, Plain, Corded, and Moire, in all new shades. We would direct special attention to several Special Lines of Gloves which Mr Dick secured on our behalf, and which surpass anything we have previously had at the money.
