AUCKLAND, June 1. This morning argument was to have been resumed in the case on appeal against the decision of Registrar Barton, at Gisborne, adjudicating Wi.Pere, M.H.R., a bankrupt, bub an arrangement was arrived at by counsel by which . the appeal stands adjourned till Wednesday. REEFTON, June 1. Perotti's Terminus Hotel, near the railway station, was totally destroyed by fire at six o'clock this morning. The insurance, as far as is ascertainable, is £7OO in the Manchester Office, reinsured in two other offices.
