NAPIER, May 17. At a crowded temperance meeting in the Theatre Royal last evening a resolution was unanimously passed calling the attention of the Minister of Justice to the fact that there are justices of the peace who rinv totalisators, and -pointing out that such appointments are inconsistent with the position, and asking in future that' due'regard be paid to the business of the appiintees.
