FOOTBALL.
TO THE BDITOB. Sm, —In a remit issue of your paper I noticed a complaint from the secretary of the Caversham Club re clubs not fulfilling their engagements. I will give you a list of the clubs that have not come up to the scratch with the Milton Club :—Waikouaiti, Green Island, University Second, Union Mixed, Pirates Third, Caversham Second, High School Second. These were matches arranged at a meeting of secretaries in Dunedin. Will the O.R.U. look into the matter ? If not, I can see a union in the distance formed by country clubs. Seeing that we are not affiliated to the N.Z.8.U., one would think that the officers of the 0.8. U. would do all they could to make football as interesting as possible; but it seems the opposite. —I am, etc., Would-be Footballer. Milton, August 17. /
