TheTalnurs "meat arrived in. excellent condition, but there is no room in tho stores for it.
Mr Young, agent of the South Australian Government, is convinced, as a result of his inquiries into the German restrictions against colonial meat, that they will not prevent a good trade from being established.

A block of warehouses at Fiamc, an Austrian seaport, have been burned, the damage being set down at £300,000.
LONDON, August 15. American stocks in London and Berlin are rising largely. Owing to the demand from the provinces and the shortage of tho American supply, the glut of frozen meat is clearing. The Congo State has granted the demand of the French lor access to tho left bank of the river, which will permit of a large expansion of trade. The Loudon Press regard the treaty as a humiliation to British diplomacy.
