FIRE.
A fire broke out in Tobin's furniture shop, Karaogahape road, Newton (Auckland), yesterday evening, caused by Mrs Tobin, who was papering a room upstairs, acoi> dentally letting a lamp fall, which broke. The furniture, damaged by water, waß insured for L 250 in the North German and LIOO in the Norwich Union, The building, owned by Mr Stewart, of Mount Albert, was also damaged.
