Thursday, April 28, For India, China, Japan, Ocyloe, Mediterranean ports, Continent of Europe, the United Kingdom, etc.—Per Tekapo (to connect wich the P. and O. steamer at Melbourne), at 1 p.m. Registered letters, money orders, books, and newspapers at noon, , . , . For Southland and Australian Colonies (via Hobart).—Per Tekapo, at 1.50 pm. Money orders (for Australian Oolonlei), registered letters, books, and newspapers, at 12.50 p.m. Late letters, Port train, at 2.30 p m. Parcel post malls for the Australian Colonies (except for New South Wales and Queensland) will close at 1 p.m.

DIRECT MAIL SERVICE

Friday, Apbil 29. The direct steamer Arawa will leave Lyttelton for Plymouth via Rio do Janeiro on Saturday, April 30 Malle close here as under ; For the United Kingdom and Foreign Countries via the United Kingdom, cto,, on Friday, April 29, at 10 a. m. Money orders at 4 p.m. and registered correspondence at 5 p.m. on Thursday, 28th April. Book packets and newspapers at 9 a.m. on Friday, 29th. Late letters bearing an additional single rate of postage (2jd) as a late fee can be posted in the mail van attached to the North train leaving Dunedin railway station at 11 a.m. on the 29 th. The above mall will close at the Branch Post Offices, Dunedin North and South Dunedin, for money orders at 4 pm. and registered letters at 5 pm. on the 28:h; letters at 9.30 a.m., and newspapers at 5 a.m. on the 29th. At the Port Chalmers Office, at 5 a m, on the 29tb, money orders at 4 p m , at d registered letters at 5 p.m. on tho 28th. Parcels for the United Kingdom, etc , will close at 9.30 a.m.
