The Fattest Man in the World.

There died in Cincinnati, in January last, George Dietel, formerly a butcher of Baltimore. He was but twenty-five years of age, and was the fattest man in the world, weighing 7631b. His death was caused by heart aud brain trouble, superinduced by la grippe. Dietel engaged in the business of a butcher when quite young, and although inclined to be fleshy he did not show any tendenoy to become very fleshy until he attained the ago of eighteen. From that time on he continued to grow in flesh and weight, and there is no knowing what weight he would have reached had not disease carried him off. Dietel measured 102 in round the paunch. His arm above the elbow measured 32in in oirjnmferenoe, while hia chest measure waa 72in. The coffin in which bis remains were placed was sft Bin long, 28ia wide, and 30in high.
