Mr Ward holds office, and was voted a salary last session oontrary to all professions of economy, and in the face of distinot declaration of the Legislature that the number of Ministers should be reduced. If the Ballanoe Ministry remain in power and cannot get L3OO a year far each pfthpif supporter?, payable monthly in advance, they wfli appoinf all their supporters members of the Exeoutive and, put a salary in the Estimates.—l am, etc, Economy, Dunedin, Marph 9.
