DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.

A meeting of the Committee of the Dunetlia Jockey Club was held last night; present—The Hon. G. M'Leau, M.L.C. (president), Messrs J. Fleming, W. H. Taggart, R. Wilson, F. Meenan, W. L. Philp, H. Driver, J. Hozletc, J. A. Cook, J. B. Reid, J. Mills, M.H.R , and H. Gourley.

G, Stead, of Christckurch, statiog that James Cotton, Jan., who was under engagement to serve him for two years from the 16ch July, 1891, had left without warning or consent, and asking that the iisutl notice be given to owners and ttainers not to employ him.—lt was resolved that the usual notice be given antler rule IBS

The Lumaden Jockey Club wrote stating ch.vt they had disqualified the horse Duby (lato Assassin), the nominator (John Erskine), and the rider (James Boult), during the club's pleasure for running the horse under a false name at thd recent meetiog.—The disqualification was endorsed.
