FOOTBALL.
Owing to the Montecillo Club disbanding, the inter-club matches have been rearranged, On June 28 Pirates play Union instead of Montecillo, and on August 2 meet ZingariRichmond; on August 9 the latter club play Dunedin; on May 10 Dunedin play Kaikorai, and on July 26 play Pirates. Instead of meeting Montecillo on May 17, Alhambra play Zingari-Richmond, and on July 12 play Union; instead of playing Montecillo on June 14, Taieri meet Dunedin, and on' July 19 play Dunedin at the latter’s ground. Instead of playing Montecillo Club on May 31, the University Club play Pirates, and play Canterbury College on August 2. The following are the fixtures of the Association football clubs for the ensuing season:—
May 3.—Southern v. Burnside, Caledonian Ground ; Northern v. Thistle, Sawyers Bay. May 10.—Southern v. Northern, Caledonian ; Roslyn v. Thistle, Sawyers Bay. May 17.—Northern v. Roslyn, Roslyn; Thistle v. Burnside, Caledonian. May 24.—Exhibition match, Caledonian. May 31.—Southern v. Roslyn, Caledonian ; Northern v. Burnside, North-east Valley. June 7.—Southern v. Thistle, North-east Valley ; Burnside r. Roslyn, Caledonian.
